How to Guide for Drapery and Upholstery Fabric Stain Removal
Most
Drapery and Upholstery fabric has Scotchgard™
protection applied to it, so the fabric will resist a
wide range of difficult stains. Typically, liquid
spills will bead up on the surface of the fabric,
giving you time to blot the liquid away. To
maximize the performance of the Scotchgard protection,
general care is recommended. Here are some general
guidelines to help your Drapery and Upholstery fabric
piece stay good looking longer:
Vacuum or
brush away loose dirt before it becomes embedded
in the fabric.
Clean up
spills and stains right away. The longer soil and
stains stay on the fabric, the harder they are to
remove.
To prevent
fading, keep your furniture, draperies, bed
coverings, etc out of direct contact with the
sunlight. Draperies should be lined to protect the
fabric from many damaging.
